Jim Wagner Plumbing, Inc. charges by the job not by the hour. why? you ask, simple this is the only way you can have No surprise pricing! We want to be able to quote a price for the materials and labor to perform the designated task to eliminate the "sticker shock" this allows us to give accurate and consistent prices and not estimates.




The Price Book!

This book that we use allows us to hire plumbers and not sales men. This book eliminates the common concern of "am I be charged based on where I live." The book doesn't know where you live or how much money you make. The Price book also has product options that we use as a company and are proven.

Flat Rate Price book prices

We subscribe to a national pricing service which enables us to provide our clients with no surprise service. The service gives the national average labor time to perform a certain repair task. A provided program is used to input our actual material and overhead, and then the prices are compiled into a straight-forward pricing book. Therefore, we are able to quote a price for a given job and not a estimate before the work is done whether the plumber is having a good or bad day. Hence... NO SURPRISES.

Estimates

We give prices not estimates, we feel that our technicians have enough experience to be able to diagnose your problem to give you a firm price that you can approve. We offer several replacement parts in our product section priced with installation. All other services have to be diagnosed. otherwise we will be just giving estimated prices. We do however charge a diagnostic fee of $39.95 to visit your home or business and give you a complete written diagnostics. We feel $39.95 is very inexpensive to send a experienced licensed technician to your home or business with a truck full of parts and tools. If we didn't charge we would have to recoup the cost from our repeat customers and that doesn't seem fair to us.
